Amethyst is primarily sourced from countries like Brazil, Uruguay, Zambia, and Russia. The amethyst which is stocked here at Hidden Treasures is from South America. Generally, the deeper, more purple variety is mined in Uruguay and the paler colour originates from Brazil. In terms of healing properties, amethyst can promote calmness, balance emotions, and aid in spiritual growth and clarity. It is an all round healer and can also aid with ocd issues.
