Amazonite is a green to bluish-green variety of microcline feldspar. It is named after the Amazon River, although no deposits have been found in the region. Instead, it’s commonly found in Brazil, Russia, Madagascar, and parts of the United States. In terms of healing properties, Amazonite is believed by some to have various metaphysical properties, including promoting harmony and balance, soothing emotional trauma, and enhancing communication as well as creativity.
